Today we will begin creating a study guide for the nine weeks test. Each group will be assigned a section of the test. All groups in each period will contribute to that page. The result should be something very helpful.
Guidelines:
:1. Draw for group numbers and sit together to discuss the plan for your page.
2. Your site should include definitions, examples, questions and answers, discussion prompts, pointers, study helps, etc.
3. Utilize the tools such as hyperlink, bulleted or numbered lists, add file/image, or horizontal line to make the page organized and neat.
4. Each group should notice what other classes have already done and build on that knowledge. Do not repeat what they have already used.
5. Be sure to ALWAYS hyperlink items and give credit to the source.
6. Avoid lots of superficial sites that repeat the same information over and over (Sparknotes).
7. Remember, the majority of the information should reside on this site. Don't overdo the linking because most people don't want to hunt through the site for the information. On that same note- DO NOT COVER THE PAGE WITH COPY/PASTE! I cannot say enough that you must give credit to all sites you use.
8. Make the site useful!
9. If you create a deliciousdeliciousdelicious account, you could join my network and access my bookmarks on these topics. You could also save bookmarks and tag them with the topic you are using. You can share that tag on your page.
